Clorsulon

Bioactive Clorsulon (MK-401) is used to deal with liver fluke infections in calves and sheep. Clorsulon is a aggressive inhibitor of 3-phosphate glycerate and ATP, with a Ki of 0.29mM. In vitro, it can inhibit glucose utilization and the formation of acetate and propionate in mature Fasciola hepatica.
