Propitocaine hydrochloride
Propamine hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder, which is without difficulty soluble in water and ethanol, barely soluble in chloroform, and insoluble in ether. Prilocaine hydrochloride belongs to amide neighborhood anesthetics, which is appropriate for epidural anesthesia, conduction anesthesia and infiltration anesthesia. The depth and velocity of nearby anesthesia is comparable to that of Lidocaine, however the action time is longer, the toxicity is decrease than that of Lidocaine, and the accumulation is smaller due to speedy metabolism.
